[01] 24th Pastoral Appreciation Banquet
Will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012, at 7:00PM in Heritage Hall. Tickets are available in R106 until March 15th. You may also see a member of the Appreciation Committee to purchase tickets.
[02] Serving the Least of These
Please bring your non-perishable food items and place them in the designated bins at the entrances for our Food Pantry and Lilburn Coop. We thank you in advance for assisting us with serving the least of these.
[03] Bowling League
The Sports Ministry is blessed to announce, the start of our third 10:00am Monday morning Bowling League. New bowlers are welcome. This season will be 24 weeks. If you are interested in joining our fun filled league, please contact Dea. Ron Morgan at 770-913-8610 or Dea. Lawrence Leonard at 770-381-7803.
[04] Salem is joining in the fight against cancer!
Salem now has a Relay For Life Team as a part of the Gwinnett County Relay For Life organization. Anyone interested in helping plan fundraisers, or just being apart of something that will help change and save lives, please come to our first team meeting on Monday, February 6, at 7:00 PM in the main conference room of the Sanctuary. Food will be served. For more information, please contact our team Captain Jacquita Graham at 678-773-8285.
[05] The Salem Food Pantry is open on Thursdays from 03:00PM to 05:00PM and Saturdays from 12:00PM to 02:00PM.
We are in need of the following items: cooking oil, evaporated milk, flour, jelly, small containers of ketchup, mayo and mustard, powdered drinks or juices, 2lb. bags of sugar, spaghetti sauce, bath soap, dish detergent and laundry detergent. You may drop your donations in the food bins located throughout the church. Please note that the Salem Food Pantry is open to the public.
[06] Study To Show Thyself Approved
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15 Salem's library has resources available to assist you study God's Word, for the purpose of individual life application or ministry development. Stop by from 12PM to 2PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. We are also opened from 12:00PM to 02:00PM on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays. Library information: (770) 923-3936 Ext. 121.

The Pastor Support Ministry invites the congregation to join with us as fast and pray for Pastor Haynes. Mondays from 6:00AM & 6:00PM
[08] Youth Workers
The Youth Ministry is looking for those who have a desire to work with the youth. Your help is needed; along with all that God has given you to benefit “The Youth of the Now”. It is the desire of the REVAMP Ministry to see our youth flourish in the knowledge of God. If you are interested, please call Sis. Darlene Nails at (678-468-8271). It's time for our Annual KIDS Zone Registration and Updates. Parents please allow time to update your child's registration at KIDS Zone during sign-in or sign-out.

The Deacon Wives Ministry is having a Voter Registration drive beginning this Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and after 11 a.m. service @ Heritage Hall. If you have not registered to VOTE for the upcoming election, please make plans to register. Registration is open to ALL COUNTIES in the State of Georgia. Additional registration dates are:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Sundays - HERITAGE HALL-10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
1st & 4th Sundays - HERITAGE HALL-after 11 a.m. service- 2:30 p.m.
2nd, 3rd, & 5th Sundays – REVAMP Youth House - after 11 a.m. service -2:30 p.m.

[11] Married Couples Valentine’s Fellowship
Love is in the air! All Married Couple’s are invited to a Valentine’s Fellowship Dinner, Saturday, February 11th at 5:30 pm at the Old Towne Tavern: 835 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. The restaurant has reserved a private room for this event with the flexibility of allowing each couple to order off the menu. We hope to see you there!
