Church Disaster Relief Effort
Pastor is asking Salem Church to bring the following items to the church to assist in the relief efforts in Houston due to Hurricane Harvey. Please drop the items off at the Church office and call the Church Office for more information. Thank you so much for your willingness to help. Baby items (diapers, baby wipes, bottles, etc.) Bottled water, Gift cards, Cleaning Supplies.
Women’s Day Celebration: Theme: “A Willing Heart, Saying Yes to Jesus”. Starting on Friday September 22, 2017 at 6: 30pm with the COLOR-RAMA Fellowship. All sisters are asked to register online, and the cost is $10.00 per person. On Saturday September 23, 2017 A Women of Purpose, Power, and Prayer will be held in Heritage Hall, beginning at 9:00am. Women’s Day will culminate on Sunday September 24th at both the 7:45am and 11:00am Women Day Service. The colors for women’s day are red and white.
The SALEM 2017 Health Fair will be held on September 30th, 9am-12noon, in Heritage Hall A. There will be Health Care professionals to take your blood pressure, help you with proper use of your inhalers and nebulizers. You may also review your medications with a pharmacist and more. Some of the other champions of health care will be Celebrate Recovery, a Salem ministry to help you with your hurts, habits and hang-ups; and the National Alliance on Mental Illness for information on mental and emotional disorders. There will be information on natural medicine, vitamins, and healthy eating. Pneumonia and Flu Vaccines will be available and many more health and wellness services. You may even sign up for the Gwinnett Health Care System Network. Refreshments and frequent gift drawings will be held throughout the event.

You’ll see your communication, public speaking, and leadership skills blossom, with the assistance and support of club members who want you to succeed.
