As we enter the month of January, we will review the books of Obadiah, Nahum, Zephaniah, Joel, and Micah. Each review session will include interactive games, small-group discussions, and intentional “heart-work”—the practice of applying God’s Word to our inner lives so that true spiritual growth and transformation may take place.
Scripture reminds us, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” (James 1:22 NIV), and “For the word of God is living and active… discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12 NIV). Our aim is not only to study these prophetic books, but to allow God’s truth to shape how we live, repent, and walk faithfully before Him.
